Skeeter Jordan is an associate in the Oklahoma City office, and a member of the firm’s Energy, Environment & Natural Resources and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups. His energy practice concentrates on representing oil and gas companies in a variety of matters, with his primary focus on representing oil and gas producers with disputes regarding royalty payments and assisting midstream companies with the acquisition of right of ways and easements through both negotiation and condemnation.
Skeeter graduated with his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, Skeeter was on the Dean’s List, a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, served as special projects editor for the American Indian Law Review and as treasurer for the Intellectual Property Society. Additionally, Skeeter earned several honors while in law school, including the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Research and Writing I. Skeeter was also an award winner in the school’s Negotiation Competition, a 2015 American Bar Association Regional Mediation Competition champion, and a 2015 American Bar Association National Mediation Competition champion.
Skeeter, his wife, Abbie, and their sons, Jeremy and Jacob, built a house and live on acreage outside of Oklahoma City. They enjoy spending time maintaining the property, taking care of the livestock and pets, fishing in their ponds and being outdoors.
