Evan Vincent is a director in the Oklahoma City office of Crowe & Dunlevy. His practice focuses on litigation of complex and challenging legal matters at both the trial and appellate levels, and involves representing clients that do business in a wide variety of industries. He has served as lead counsel for jury and arbitration trials, and in both state and federal court appeals. He has achieved an AV peer review rating from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell and been named a Rising Star by Oklahoma Super Lawyers in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Representative experience includes:

  • Successfully representing the University of Oklahoma in state and federal court proceedings involving a starting OU football player’s challenge to a suspension imposed under the University’s Title IX procedures
  • Obtaining a directed verdict for the defendant at the close of plaintiff’s case in a federal court jury trial involving ownership rights in a $24 million natural gas gathering system
  • Obtaining summary judgment in favor of the manufacturer of a resin coated proppant used in hydraulic fracturing in a federal court lawsuit involving product liability and breach of warranty claims
  • Part of the appellate team that obtained a reversal that reduced a $119 million judgment to $3.6 million in a class action alleging a well operator failed to protect oil and gas leases from drainage by other wells
  • Defense of claims against a bank relating to checks written and deposited in connection with the operation of a Ponzi scheme
  • Representing an Oklahoma rural electric cooperative in an antitrust lawsuit asserting violations of Section 2 of the Sherman Act against a wholesale electric cooperative
  • Representing owners, sureties, general contractors, and subcontractors in disputes involving a broad range of issues arising from construction projects
  • Representing defendants in trademark, patent and copyright cases in federal court
  • Representing a telecommunications company in prosecution of claims arising from manufacturing defects in fiber optic cable
